Waiting for a guy to make the first move could be like torture. A lot of guys are shy and nervous around girls. It’s just as hard for them to show their feelings as it is for you to. So if you want him to ask you out on a date you need to set the scene for it to happen.
Get Him To Ask You Out On A Date By First Showing Interest
As a woman, showing you’re interested in a guy can be a delicate thing. You don’t want to come on too strong but you do want to let him know that if he wants to pursue you further, you’d be willing to give it a try.
One way you can show your interest in a guy is to pay attention when he’s talking and try to keep pretty good eye contact. No, I don’t mean stare at him the whole time, but men do like a woman who can keep eye contact with him while he’s talking to her.
If you’re chatting over the phone, another way to let him know you’re interested is to ask him more questions about himself. Men like to show off their “feathers” to a girl they like, just like a peacock would. So if you’re asking him to tell you more about his recent fishing trip, than the chances are you might be interested in going on a date with him sometime.
If You Can’t Get Him To Ask You Out, He Might Not Be Interested
Now if you paid attention to him, kept good eye contact, asked him questions about himself, and he still hasn’t asked you about your situation yet (aka, if you’re available and dating) it just might mean he’s not interested in dating you.
Something a girl should keep in mind is, if a single guy is interested in you and you show interest in him, he will pursue you–that’s just how those horn dogs are wired.
It’s like when we walk into a good sale; you have to act fast before all the good stuff is gone, right? Well, think of yourself as good stuff and if a guy is interested in you, and thinks he’s got a chance, he will want to try and take you off the market.
