Best Date You’ve Been On?
The most recent best date I have been on is with my current boyfriend after we had been dating a month. He took me to the Poison/Def Leppard concert. We got tickets that night and ended up getting seats center stage. We had the best view.
What’s your most embarrassing dating story?
It was more embarrassing for the guy. We met up at a bar where we ate and had drinks. When the bartender went to run his credit card it was declined twice. The guy then checked his account on his phone and saw that he didn’t have enough to cover the bill. He then asked me to pay half. He said he wanted to make it up to me but when we scheduled for another time, he told me he had to cancel because he was flat broke again. Needless to say, I never talked to him again.
What do you think a relationship is about?
I think a relationship is about honesty and communication. Early on my boyfriend and I had situation where this was tested. We made it through and now we are so honest about everything. It has made our relationship so strong. A relationship is also about being able to laugh, enjoying each others company and trying new things.
What golden bit of online dating advice would you give?
You really do have to kiss a lot of frogs to find that one person. I think it can take a bit of time to really figure out what you want in a partner. And when it happens, it will take you by surprise and happen in the most unexpected way.
