Why do you enjoy writing for Singles Warehouse?
Most of my friends are doing the suburban “married with kids” thing. I’ve always been a bit outside of the box and truthfully, I enjoy my freedom and singledom. Of course, having someone to cuddle with at night wouldn’t be bad either! So, I continue to date until I make that connection. You know, the one that makes your heart a-flutter.
What’s your most embarrassing dating story?
I met a seemingly wonderful guy online; he had it all – looks, brains, success. We began exchanging messages and eventually he asked me out. I was so excited! I starting telling my friend about him and, as luck would have it, he was already in a “relationship” with another friend of mine. So, I had the task of turning him down and telling her that he was a slimeball. And that slimeball still wanted to go out with me!
What do you think a relationship is about?
I believe a relationship should, overall, be 50-50, full of love, romance, intellect, companionship, and friendship.
What golden bit of online dating advice would you give?
Sometimes, you have to kiss a crap load of frogs to find your prince.
