Hi there I’m Haylee. Hope your well. So where do I begin? Right so I have been single since Valentine’s

So I feel that I am a bit of a novice at all this

day last year, yes that’s right you read that correctly me and my ex broke up on valentine’s day, during a romantic meal in a posh restaurant (he cried I didn’t). So now I’m on the lookout for a guy. However unlike my housemate B (who also writes a blog on here Bella’s dating woes, which is fab btw) I am pants at this whole dating malarkey. I think it’s because I have never really done it before. Yes I have had boyfriends but I’ve never been on dates. Usually I meet a guy on a night out at a club, have a cheeky snog, then see him a week later at the club again and this process continues until we are having mid-week sleepovers and it just magically turns into a relationship. So I feel that I am a bit of a novice at all this.

I took the plunge and joined a few dating websites

So a few months ago I took the plunge and joined a few dating websites to see if that could help me. Well so far all that has come about from talking to guys online on POF (Plenty of Fish for those who arent too familiar with dating websites) is one date (more on this later), an offer of a threesome with a married couple, a married guy wanting to have an affair and more recently the offer from a guy who wanted to purchase my worn underwear. As you can see so far NOT good.

Saying all this my pof experience isn’t as bad as a friends who joined the website for a bit of a laugh and before she had time to post a photo or any info about herself, a guy messaged her asking to meet up for potential fun. This guy subsequently turned out to be her married uncle (she didn’t meet him she just read all the info and realised it all added up- now that would be an awkward first date).
