Remember if you’ve not yet got a date for Valentines then the time to sign up is now!
What To Buy For Valentines Day?
Flowers
Flowers are probably the standard for Valentines Day and more than likely what your partner is expecting. There’s nothing wrong with flowers apart from maybe a lack of imagination. If you are going to go for the ‘standard option’ please don’t pick them up from a petrol station on the way home, put a little effort in and get something that means something. Roses can be expensive so if you are on a budget consider buying your partners favourite flowers. There is nothing to say it has to be roses.
Chocolates
To be honest guys with this one you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Every lady likes to receive chocolates but you are going to get the following sentence “you trying to get me fat?”. Now that may sound harsh but the other option if you choose not to get chocolates is “Am I fat?”. Now I’m sure we all know which side of the fence we’d rather be on for that one don’t you?
Meal Out
You should be planning something for Valentines Day but its important to keep in mind that Valentines Day is not everyone’s cup of tea. Just do something that is special to you two in the evening, and maybe that involves a nice meal out of a surprise at home.
Perfect Gift
This one takes a little thought…what would your partner really like to receive. Don’t think about the cost to much you’ll be able to think of something special for any budget. Maybe you want to buy a diamond neckless but only have funds for a CD soundtrack of her favourite movie. You get the idea. The smallest gifts can sometimes be the winners…that being said so can the big gifts!
Whatever you end up doing – make it special every way you can. Tomorrow we will be talking about things that cost no money to do for Valentines Day.
