Oh what a night. For those of you who have not yet done this as a night at you really MUST go – and I think we’ve found the venue for you!
We went to visit the 99 Club who were hosting one of their famous Comedy Nights. It was booked as a birthday present and I was left a little worried that on a Monday night he club might be empty. How wrong was I. The place was heaving with everyone in high spirits having a great time.
The club had arranged for a buffet to be served. Simple food but lots of it, sausages, pasta, salad, chicken…etc. And the bar was very reasonable.
We all took our seats and waited for the event to begin. We were treated to three fantastic acts (one who is often on TV!). All I can say is that we had a blast. Some of the topics were touchy but that’s what you get! And it’s what you should get. Great crowd participation really helped to. The jokes were topical, funny and crowd relevant. It really was a talented night.
To book tickets go to the 99 Comedy Night Website . It really is worth it and we’ll certainly will be going back.
It technically isn’t a restaurant – but we’re nominating it for one of our 2011 Places to Date Awards also.
